Roger Federer returned to the ATP No.1 position in style, defeating Andy Murray 4-6, 7-5, 6-3, 6-4 in the final of the Wimbledon Open. The Swiss, popularly called Fed-Ex clinched his 17th Grandslam title- and his 7th Wimbledon title. With this win, Roger Federer has surpassed Pete Sampras' record of most No.1 ranking, and he did this in his 30s.
Serena Williams' hard-fought 6-1, 5-7, 6-2 victory over Agnieszka Radwanska gave her 5th Wimbledon win and 14th career Grandslam.
