2 Robbers Killed in Gun Battle

An eight-man robbery gang, yesterday, allegedly engaged a team of policemen in  a gun duel that lasted 20 minutes in the Ebute-Meta area of Lagos. At the end of the gun duel, two suspected members of the gang were killed while others escaped.

Report said the robbers had stormed Jebba/Ondo streets, dispossessing motorists and commuters of cash and other valuables, when a team of policemen from Denton division on patrol  swopped on them, resulting the shoot-out.
