Mozyx, of popular 90's music group, Felyx and Mozyx, down with kidney failure

I saw this on Linda Ikeji's blog and copied it verbatim:

 Mozzyx on the hospital bed

Fellyx and Mozzyx was a popular Nigerian music group in the 90s. If you grew up in Nigeria in the 90s, you definitely know who they are. Unfortunately, one of the group members, Mozyx, real name Moses Ikomi is critically ill. Moses has been battling chronic kidney failure for over two years now. Doctors say his kidneys have packed up, so he needs a kidney transplant ASAP. The operation needs to be done in India and he needs financial help to make this possible. Please help keep Mozyx alive.

Poor and Neglected Gringory is Dead

This is the caption that best captures the whole picture. The creator of the very hilarious TV comedy series, The New Masquerade, is dead. Mr. James Iroha was 70, and he had cried out for help a few weeks ago. Unlike our politicians, the hardworking and creative people who serve the country selflessly usually die in penury.
And like I posted on twitter and facebook last night, "If you had the power to help Gringory but failed to do so, please keep your 'R.I.P Gringory' to yourself. Otherwise, God may slap you silly!"

R.I.P Pa James Iroha.

Goge Africa Presenters Become Parents After 13 years of Marriage

Goge Africa presenters, Isaac and Nneka Moses, have every reason to be thankful to God. The inseparable couple finally became proud parents after 13 years of marriage, as Nneka Moses was delivered of a baby boy recently.
Although the details of the birth were kept secret, Isaac took to Facebook to express his gratitude to God: “All honour and glory to God; my wife has delivered a beautiful baby boy. And just looking at him, I realize he is worth the long wait. So welcome baby Kamara Isaac Moses.”
I am so touched by this story. I just wish many more couples endure marital challenges like Isaac and Nneka Moses, the African culture and tourism ambassadors.

Save A Soul- 32-month-old Baby Gracious Needs Help

I saw this on Linda Ikeji's blog, and couldn't help but copy it. Obviously, this is the unedited letter from the NGO taking care of Gracious:

Born on the 1st of June 2009, Baby GRACIOUS EFUA-OSE is a precious little girl that should be having fun and enjoying her young life with her twin sister, but unfortunately she was born with a heart condition (Hole in the heart) her poor family have exhausted every last cent they have trying to keep baby GRACIOUS alive. Because of the poor medical facilities in Nigeria her Doctor has diagnosed she be flown to Indian for surgery at a cost of 2 million naira (approximately $12,682.31). Her family who could barely feed themselves could not raise this amount and are reaching out to everyone out there to help save the life of their precious little angel. We at Sumo Child Care (NGO) are using this medium to start an emergency campaign Funds to save Baby Gracious.

We are using this means to appeal to everyone to come to the rescue of Baby Gracious. Even if its $2, €2, £2 or 2naira you can afford please join us in our urgent call to save this baby. Sodiq (left) and the Late Sylvester (right)

Sodiq Adeojo, son of popular Ibadan-based politician, Alhaji Yekini Adeojo, has been sentenced to jail. He was given a life sentence with a minimum of 30 years for the murder of Sylvester Akapalara. Sylvester was a promising 17-year-old athlete.
Sodiq, 20, was tried along with two of his brothers, aged 18 and 16; but while his brothers were cleared in the murder case, Sodiq wasn’t so lucky. Sodiq and his 2 brothers belong to the notorious GAS Gang of Brixton.
Sylvester was found dying in the stairwell of the Pelican Estate in Peckham, South East London, in December 2010. He had been chased by Sodiq’s gang brandishing knives and a gun before being shot in the neck and chest.

Well, what can I say? Kudos to the British legal system!!!!!

Tevez Apologizes To Manchester City

AWOL Manchester City Striker, Carlos Tevez finally swallowed his pride and apologized “sincerely and unreservedly” for his refusal to warm up for the club’s match against Bayern Munich in the Champions’ League group stage.
In a statement released by the club on Tuesday, Tevez said:  "I wish to apologise sincerely and unreservedly to everybody I have let down and to whom my actions over the last few months have caused offence.
"My wish is to concentrate on playing football for Manchester City Football Club.''
Carlos Tevez made spirited efforts to join another club during the January transfer window, but his transfer fee scared clubs like Inter Millan, AC Milan (Italy) and Paris Saint Germain (France) away.
Hmmmmmmm………… He thought the club would collapse without him, abi? Well, who is smiling now? Work on your attitude joor!

Sarah Ofili is Pregnant

If the reports emanating from the grapevine is anything to go by, it means that the World Famous Academy rapper and friend of the Mo’Hits crew, Ikechuckwu Skillz is on his way to becoming a father. Reports have it that Sarah Ofili, his fiancĂ©e, is pregnant.  Although there’s no news of any marriage plan right now, I am sure that the couple must be over the moon with joy.
Ikechuckwu proposed to Sarah in October 2011.
