After the proposed exit of Steve Tyler and Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey will be joining the American Idol as a judge- and will also be setting a record.

Nick Canon's wife and the 5-time Grammy winner will reportedly earn $18 million in one year, making her the highest paid judge on any music competition show.
