Nigeria's Dolphins FC Plans to Host Arsenal

In a bid to become a bigger brand in football, the Port Harcourt team have started preparations to welcome the English giants when they come visiting later in the year. Dolphins’ general manager Dumbor Awanem has confirmed that English Premier League giants Arsenal will play against his team in Port-Harcourt when they come on their tour of Nigeria in the summer.

Awanem said over the weekend that there is no way Arsenal will come to Nigeria and not play the current league champions of the country. He said that he attended a meeting with the Arsenal representatives and they reached that agreement.

“A lot of other states are trying to lure the Arsenal team to their states but they have said they want to see a club that can actually give them stiff opposition and Dolphins fit that bill,” Awanem said.
“With this I can confirm to you that Arsenal will come to Port Harcourt to play against Dolphins in the summer and it is a good motivation for us because what we are going to gain from the match cannot be over emphasised.”
Awanem further added that the state is already in the process of making things right for the visit of Arsenal to Port Harcourt in the summer.
“It’s not every time you get a club like Arsenal coming to your country or your stadium and we want to make the best of this. We are going to make adequate preparation for the visit because it comes once in a life time,” Awanem concluded.

Hmmmmm....... Ok oooo, By the way, I tried getting a photo of Dolphin FC but couldn't find any. Naija for show!
