Brad and Angelina Spend Holiday in Namibia;Donate $2 million

When Brangelina say peace on earth and goodwill to all, they really mean it. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, possibly the biggest do gooders in Hollywood, generously donated $2 million to a Namibian wildlife sanctuary after spending the holidays there with the entire family.

What did Jolie have to say about her latest holiday philanthropy?

Jolie said she chose to donate to the Naankuse Wildlife Sanctuary—home to orphaned, injured and threatened African animals—because she gave birth to daughter Shiloh there in 2006. The donation was made in Shiloh's name.

"We want [Shiloh] to be very involved and grow up with an understanding of her country of birth," said Jolie. "We continue to be impressed by their hard work and dedication to the people and conservation of the land and wildlife of Namibia."

The Jolie-Pitt clan spent this past Christmas at a lodge on the sanctuary, where they witnessed a doctor heal a wild dog and saw a leopard released into the wild. The kids pitched in too, helping the staff to feed baby baboons and release an animal back into the wild.

Very impressive gesture. This is why some stars never fade- genuine philantropy!
