Nigeria Premier League clubs Enyimba and Shooting Stars will start wearing jerseys with a brand name, Dubic Larger Beer from the second round of the season.
The jerseys were unveiled to the public yesterday in Ibadan and Aba, and officials of the two clubs are happy that it will mark the beginning of better things to come for them.
Goal.com gathered that the deal is for one year and is renewable at the expiration of the contract, although the monetary value was not disclosed.
"This is something good because it will not only boost the finances of the team, it will also enhance the corporate image of the teams. We want to call on other corporate bodies to take advantage of the wide reach that football will give them to support other clubs in the Nigeria Premier League,” said an official who preferred anonymity.
The two teams might wear the new jerseys when they take on each other this Saturday in Ibadan in the NPL.
